exploring philadelphia

The day after Sean & Britt's wedding in Lancaster, we drove to Philadelphia for a day-early anniversary celebration. We were excited to visit a new city and do a few things that are tourist-y yet fun.

Our first stop was to Pat's King of Steaks for the infamous Philly Cheesesteak. All I have to say is YUM! I now know why the line was 50 people long, at least.

geno's: right across the street

Next, we checked into the hotel that we were staying at. We splurged a little- because it was our one year anniversary. Then we began our walk to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. We didn't actually go into the Museum, we wanted to walk around outside and explore more of the city. Instead, we took a bunch of pictures on the Rocky steps before heading to our next destination.

love this photo- hubs is gettin good

you don't realize how many people were there, trying to run up the steps and then jumping at the top with their arms in the air...

a lovely lady took our picture

she suggested we pose this way :)

Next, we walked over to Love Park, which was turned into Christmas Village. We capture a cute yet cheesy photo of us under the Love statue. I'm a fan, I must say.

Then we walked to the Liberty Bell. It was historic and crowded. We didn't stay long...

philly was so cute- all decorated for Christmas

America's history

cute little park next to the historic center

I'm pretty sure Bry fell in love with Philly and wants to move there ASAP. Can't wait to go back again!
